【摘要】:ProductdefinitionThisspecificationcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementsofafullyinstalledspliceclosureinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.1.2OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseverityanddurationisrepresentativeofoutsideplantforsubterraneanand/oraerialenvironmentsdefinedby:ETSIEN300019-1-4class8.1:undergroundlocations(withoutearthquakerequirement)EN61753-1categoryS:subterraneanenvironmentcategoryA:aerialenvironment1.3ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.1.4QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.1.5AllowedfibreandcabletypesAlthoughtheperformancetestsarecarriedoutontestsampleswithdispersionun-shiftedsinglemodefibre(seeAnnexA),theclosure,oncetestedaccordingtothisproductspecification,willbealsosuitedforotherfibretypeslikedispersionshifted,non-zerodispersionshiftedandmultimodefibres.ThisclosurestandardallowsbothsinglemodeandmultimodefibretobeusedandcoversallENstandardopticalfibrecableswiththeirvariousfibrecapacities,typesanddesigns.Thisincludes,butisnotlimitedto,opticalfibrecablestandardsEN60794-2(indoor),EN60794-3(outdoor).
