【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsandtestmethodsformaterials,dimensions,workmanship,flatteningresistance,impactresistance,pipestiffness,extrusionquality,joiningsystem,andaformofmarkingforlargediameters,18to48in.poly(vinylchloride)(PVC)sewerpipeandfittingswithintegralbellelastomericsealjointsandsmoothinnerwalls.Therequirementsofthisspecificationareintendedtoprovidepipeandfittingssuitablefornonpressuredrainageofsewageandsurfacewater.PipeandfittingsproducedtothisspecificationshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithPracticeD2321.Note1-Industrialwastedisposallinesshouldbeinstalledonlywiththespecificapprovalofthegoverningcodeauthoritysincetemperaturesinexcessof140?F(60?C)andchemicalsnotcommonlyfoundindrainsandsewersmaybeencountered.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityorregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
