MIL-STD-198E, MILITARY STANDARD: CAPACITORS, SELECTION AND USE OF (29 MAY 1984) [S/S BY MIL-HDBK-198]., This standard consists of the following:(a) selected standard capacitor types, detailed by sections, chosen jointly bythe Departments of the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force for use in thedesign and manufacture of military equipment under the jurisdiction of theDepartments.(b) Guides for the choice and application of capacitors for use in militaryequipment.Detailed requirements for capacitors listed in this standard are covered in theapplicable specification (see 2.1).
