【摘要】:Thispracticeoutlinesaprocedureforthemechanicalcalibrationofpaddleandbasketdissolutionunitstoensurereproducibilityofresults.Onceaunitmeetsallofthemechanicalspecificationsincludedinthispractice,itisconsideredcalibratedandfurthercalibrationwithdissolutioncalibratortabletsisnotrequired.1.1Thispracticecoverstheset-upandcalibrationofthepaddleandbasketdissolutionapparatus.1.2Useofthispracticemaybeappliedtoapparatusthathavebeenmodifiedtoenableautomaticdissolutiontesting(thatis,avalveinthebottomofthevesselorsamplingthroughtheshaft).1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
